Dr. Dirk Graeve takes over from Issam Rishmawi at the Wilhelmstrasse location in Lüdenscheid
After many years as a surgeon in private practice, Issam Rishmawi is taking his well-deserved retirement on October 1. He is handing over his practice on Wilhelmstrasse in Lüdenscheid, which has been part of the Medical Care Center (MVZ) of the Sportklinik Hellersen for several years, to Dirk Graeve, a specialist in surgery with a focus on trauma surgery. With his extensive experience from his many years of working at several clinics, he brings a high level of expertise to successfully continue the practice.
"We would like to thank Mr. Rishmawi for his commitment and outstanding work over the past few years. In Dr. Graeve, we have found a competent and experienced successor who will continue to run the practice in the same high quality. This is a very important step towards securing medical care and continuing to provide patients with a highly qualified, reliable and competent point of contact," says Dirk Burghaus, Managing Director of MVZ an der Sportklinik Hellersen GmbH.
Dr. Dirk Graeve has worked at Bergmannsheil and the Gelsenkirchen-Buer Children's Hospital, Lüdenscheid Clinic and Marienhospital Letmathe, among others. He worked there as a senior consultant from 2008 to 2019 before moving to the St. Elisabeth Letmathe Surgical Practice in December 2019.
"I'm looking forward to my new role and to continuing Mr. Rishmawi's practice. My aim is to continue to provide patients with the same high quality of care and to use my experience to provide new impetus. The personal and trusting relationship with the people here in Lüdenscheid is the focus for me," says Dr. Dirk Graeve.
Everything will remain the same for patients: The practice will remain at the Wilhelmstraße 1 location and will continue to offer the familiar range of services - from the treatment of school and work accidents to expert opinions for the employers' liability insurance association and outpatient surgical procedures such as metal removal, subcutaneous tumor surgery, septic surgery and hand surgery.
