Specialist in anesthesiology (m/f/d)

The Hellersen Sports Clinic is one of Germany's leading specialist clinics for orthopaedics, trauma surgery and sports medicine. Almost 50,000 patients come to us every year to have their orthopaedic illnesses and injuries treated by our top physicians or for the implantation of an artificial joint. As a sports medical examination center of the State Sports Association (LSB) and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the highly specialized team of doctors also advises athletes and examines them for their health and performance. The range of services is rounded off by plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as the regionally unique Center for Special Pain Medicine.

Your tasks

Our family structures allow us to be both close to our patients and close to each other. In keeping with our motto "We together - from person to person", you will work hand in hand with your colleagues to care for our patients.

  • You will focus on your main task - holistic anesthesiological patient care - and will be responsible for perioperative care and emergency care for outpatient and inpatient operations.
  • You will apply the usual anesthesia and regional anesthesia procedures (a large number of ultrasound-supported peripheral regional anesthesia procedures, unilateral or continuous with catheter).
  • You are familiar with the use of pain pumps for post-operative pain therapy and mechanical autotransfusion.
  • You are familiar with computer-based anesthesia documentation.
  • You seek interdisciplinary contact in order to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation.

What you bring with you

With your motivating and hands-on approach, you are welcome to make a difference with us.

  • You have a German license to practice medicine and are a specialist in anaesthesiology.
  • You have good written and spoken German language skills corresponding to language level C1.
  • You are proficient in the usual anesthesia procedures and have some experience in treating acute emergencies.
  • You have sound knowledge of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia procedures.
  • You have sound knowledge and skills in the ultrasound-guided insertion of peripheral nerve catheters.
  • You have a high level of enthusiasm for new things and are open to innovations in medicine.
  • A good working relationship involves give and take - so you are as flexible as you want to be.you want from us.
