Purchasing Management (m/f/d)

The Hellersen Sports Clinic is one of Germany's leading specialist clinics for orthopaedics, trauma surgery and sports medicine. Almost 50,000 patients come to us every year to have their orthopaedic illnesses and injuries treated by our top physicians or for the implantation of an artificial joint. As a sports medical examination center of the State Sports Association (LSB) and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the highly specialized team of doctors also advises athletes and examines them for their health and performance. The range of services is rounded off by plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as the regionally unique Center for Special Pain Medicine.

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the entire supply logistics for medical consumables and capital goods
  • Product group responsibility for medical consumables
  • Development of cost and savings potentials in the areas of purchasing, internal logistics and supply processes
  • Handling of various procurement projects and processes
  • Advising users on product selection
  • Management of strategic procurement processes also in the area of medical technology
  • Supplier management
  • Continuation and further development of the digitalization of purchasing and consumption processes
  • Management responsibility for the team

 

What you bring with you

  • High affinity for IT, especially in Orbis
  • Extensive and several years of experience in procurement, preferably in the hospital sector
  • Conceptual strength combined with a solid technical overview
  • Operational design and implementation skills
  • Experience in the area of staff management
  • Proficient in the use of common MS Office applications
  • A solution-oriented, independent and structured way of working as well as strong implementation skills
  • Enjoyment of the diverse fields of activity in the area of purchasing as well as a high degree of personal initiative
  • Distinct negotiation skills
