So that you feel completely at ease

As an elective or private patient, we offer you a number of elective services from which you can choose.

These include treatment by the head physician, accommodation in an optional room and special meals.

This is how admission works for you as an elective or private patient

Arrival
Please report first to the reception in the entrance area of House I.
There you will be directed to the patient reception for elective patients.

Patient admission
Your data is recorded and treated with absolute confidentiality in the patient admission for elective services patients. Your private insurance benefits and requests for optional services are also recorded.

Our optional services:

As an elective patient, you have the option of being treated by one of our chief physicians or a senior physician. If you would like this, it is best to discuss this directly with the staff in patient admission.

Special 2-bed rooms and 1-bed rooms with different comfort features are also available to patients at the Hellersen Sports Clinic. Our admissions staff will be happy to clarify availability with the ward managers. Simply contact us.

Please note: We ask for your understanding that our 1-bed rooms have limited availability and we cannot reserve them for you in advance.

On ward 1.3, we have set up a lounge for our elective patients. A coffee machine, tea and cold drinks are available there for you to enjoy.

As an optional service patient, you can also borrow a towelling bathrobe and towels from us. A deposit will be charged for this, which will of course be refunded at the end of your stay.

We offer you an extended menu selection. In addition to our regular meal plan, you have the option of choosing from our additional menu for elective patients. This includes additional dishes for lunch as well as other options for breakfast and dinner.
A member of the nursing staff will inform you of your meal preferences when you are admitted. You will receive the additional menu together with the regular meal plan when you are admitted.

As an optional service patient, you can use the telephone and WLAN free of charge, which you can easily register with one of our employees at reception.
