As an elective or private patient, we offer you a number of elective services from which you can choose.

These include treatment by a chief physician, accommodation in an elective room and special meals.

Here is how the admission process works for you as an elective or private patient

Please report first to the reception desk in the entrance area of House I.
There you will be forwarded directly to the patient admission for elective patients.

Patient admission
In the patient admission for elective service patients, your data is recorded and treated with absolute confidentiality. In addition, your private insurance benefits and requests for optional services are recorded.

 

Our elective services:

Medical care

As an elective patient, you have the option of being treated by one of our chief physicians or a senior physician. If you wish to do so, it is best to discuss this directly with the staff in the patient admission department.

Room selection service

At the Sportklinik Hellersen, special 2-bed rooms and 1-bed rooms with different comfort features are also available to patients. Our patient admission staff will be happy to clarify availability with the ward managers. Just get in touch with us.

Note: We ask for your understanding that our 1-bed rooms have a low availability and we cannot reserve them for you in advance.

Recreation room

On Ward 1.3, we have set up a lounge for our elective patients. A coffee machine, tea and cold drinks are available there for you to linger.

Bathrobe and towels

As an elective patient, you can also borrow a terry cloth bathrobe and towels in our house. A deposit fee is charged for this, which we will of course refund to you at the end of your stay.

Catering

We offer you an extended menu selection. In addition to our regular menu, you have the option of choosing from our additional menu for elective patients. This includes additional meals for lunch as well as other offerings for breakfast and dinner.
A member of the nursing staff will point this out to you separately when you make your meal requests. You will receive the additional menu together with the regular meal plan upon admission.

 

Telephone and WLAN

As an elective patient, you are exempt from the basic charges for the telephone. An information sheet will inform you about any telephone charges that may be incurred, which you will receive in order to activate your telephone.

WLAN access is also available to you free of charge as an elective service patient.

You can conveniently register your telephone and WLAN with one of our staff at reception.
