Dr. Ulrich Schneider and Dr. Oliver Meier listed in best list by Focus magazine
Doctors from the Hellersen Sports Clinic are once again listed in the Focus-Gesundheit magazine's list of best doctors for the year 2021. Dr. Ulrich Schneider receives the award for top physician in the category of sports medicine as well as Dr. Oliver Meier for spine surgery. "We are very pleased about the award for our physicians. It underscores what our clinic stands for: a high degree of specialization in every field of our orthopedic specialty clinic. This allows us to treat the specific clinical pictures of our patients in the best possible way," says clinic CEO Dirk Burghaus. The Top Physician award will be announced in the latest issue of Focus-Gesundheit "Orthopädie", which will be published on April 13, and in the issue "Ärzteliste 2021 - Die Top Mediziner 2021", which will be published on June 1.
The Top Physician award is based on the investigations of the research institute Munich Inquire Media (MINQ), which compiles and evaluates the data, and the magazine Focus Gesundheit publishes the results. The following quality criteria are taken into account in the evaluation: On the one hand, physicians with good medical expertise in the respective area of investigation evaluate their colleagues, self-help groups and patient associations are surveyed, and on the other hand, physician evaluation portals on the Internet are evaluated. In addition, the evaluation includes how many specialist articles a doctor has published in the past five years as well as recognized acquired certificates. "In order to be listed in the Focus doctor list, a doctor must demonstrate above-average results overall within his specialist area," it is also said about the criteria of the listing of Focus health.
