Computer Scientist/ Medical Computer Scientist (m/f/d)

The Hellersen Sports Clinic is one of Germany's leading specialist clinics for orthopaedics, trauma surgery and sports medicine. Almost 50,000 patients come to us every year to have their orthopaedic illnesses and injuries treated by our top physicians or for the implantation of an artificial joint. As a sports medical examination center of the State Sports Association (LSB) and the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the highly specialized team of doctors also advises athletes and examines them for their health and performance. The range of services is rounded off by plastic and aesthetic surgery as well as the regionally unique Center for Special Pain Medicine.

Your tasks

  • Support the further development of IT in the clinic
  • Participate in the planning, development, adaptation and introduction of new IT systems
  • Supervision and monitoring of the IT landscape
  • Support in the planning, coordination and implementation of digitization projects
  • Advise and support users in the use of clinical applications
  • Analysis of errors and elimination of malfunctions
  • Support of clinical interfaces incl. subsystems (HL7, DICOM, etc.)
  • Technical connection of external partners
  • Development of tools and maintenance of in-house applications

What you bring with you

  • Completed studies ideally with a focus on medical informatics or completed training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the field of clinical information systems (preferably Dedalus ORBIS) and their interfaces desirable
  • Sound knowledge in the area of infrastructure would be an advantage
  • Confident handling of MS Office 365 applications
  • High degree of reliability, diligence and flexibility
  • Distinct ability to work in a team, service orientation and communication skills
  • Project management skills and distinct interface competence
  • Independent, goal-oriented and self-reliant way of working
